One of my favorite musicians, Brook D’Leau (the other half of J*DaVeY) remixed Miguel’s song “Sure Thing”. Oh…. my… gosh. I am hooked. I love this remix. D’leau always amazes me. That’s why I love him.

What’d you guys think? I really love J*DaVeY as you ALL know and I adore this song. I love the video. It’s very creative and it kept my eyes glued. The guy in the video is actually Jack’s boyfriend, so I’m happy they put him in there. BUT. Where on earth is Brook D’Leau?! Would have been nice to see him in the video.

Every time I post about J*DaVeY, I express to you all how big of a fan I am. Please know that they are my #1 favorites. Don’t forget! Lol! Jack & Brook are just too amazing and make some of the most original music I’ve ever heard. ANYWAYS.. I’m not playing favoritism, okay, maybe I am, but I just HAD to share with you all this song. It’s a song I found on youtube. I’m surprised I never heard it! It’s an unreleased track of theirs, so I’m sure it’s a few years old or so. But I’m soooo addicted to it. LOVE LOVE LOVE. So I figured I’d make it the SONG OF THE DAY! Enjoy babies.

J*DaVeY has been doing a lot of big things lately. From recently being signed to a major label, working on releasing their new album, and touring with big names like Erykah Badu, they are really getting out there, and I’m so excited for them! Recently Miss Jack Davey, the other half of J*DaVeY sent out a newsletter email saying:
“We’ve recently wrapped recording on our Warner Bros debut album titled New Designer Drug, & we’re ready for a breath of fresh inspiration that only the wide open road can provide. Brook & I have been working hard to revamp our live set in an effort to include new songs, jarring visual accompaniment, & an electronic stimulation that only J*DaVeY can create.”
They ARE touring this summer, and doing a few shows with Erykah Badu and Janelle Monae, as well as festivals, so be sure ro look into that to see if they will be hitting up a city near you! Check out my faves J*DaVeY! They just released their new music video for their song “Outta the Window” from the Boudoir Synema: The Great Mistapes, which came out on Christmas. I love it of course! Miss Jack Davey is such a doll + I’m loving her look. And of course Brook D’Leau is beyond cool.
