Finally HELLZ founder & creative director Lanie Alabanza-Barcena introduces ‘Movers & Shakers’. The very first collection from her highly anticipated NEW women’s street-contemporary brand, BOTB.

As an ode to modern day’s subculture youth, ‘Movers & Shakers’ portrays the fast pace lifestyle of the current zeitgeist. We all seem to be moving very quickly through our days – through work, relationships, and even life-changing experiences; It’s become completely inevitable to escape such a circumstance where a second of hesitation means you’ve lost the race completely. ‘Movers & Shakers’ goes along for the ride, but rather than stopping time all-together, it acts as a freeze-frame – flirtatiously inviting on lookers to take a peek into a moment at hand.

Ladylike pieces such as the ‘Epiphany’ dress experiment with sexual themes for a playful approach to a rather classic idea. Bold graphics and loud prints contrast the muted color-pallet, while a tailored exterior of the young professional mask a surprisingly colorful lifestyle.

It’s all about mixing old-school philosophies with new school priorities with ‘Movers & Shakers’. Though they say we’re moving too fast – Life’s never been more fun.

I am so excited for this collection. I love all of the vibrant colors and the designs in the background. Model Xian Mikol looks so stunning and gorgeous in these photos, love her. I see a couple of items I want from this collection already.

Hellz Bellz ARE the Queens Of Noise. They have released their Spring/Summer 2011 collection and it is a must! Miss Lawn definitely took it up a notch when she was designing this collection. I love how raw it is. Girl power at its finest.

Hellz Bellz, as well as Married To The MOB have teamed up with Baby G and came out with their own line of watches. I’m not that big on watches, but these are pretty cute. I mean, hey, if watches are your thing- you might like them! Just thought I’d share dolls. Not sure @ how much they will be retailing for. I’m guessing over $100. I’m feeling the polka-dot watch! The watches hit stores in September.
