Happy October to everyone! I love October It’s one of my favorite months out of the year, and one of my favorite clothing brand HELLZ just released their BOTB Fall 2012 collection which I love a lot. If you don’t already know what BOTB is, BOTB stands for ‘Belle Of The Brawl’ created by the owner of HELLZ BELLZ Ms. Lanie Alabanza-Barcena. This season she presents you ‘Anti-Heroine’ Delivery 1 collection that was inspired by one of my favorite movie of all time the cult classic film Tank Girl. The collection was shot by Natalia Mantini, and she did an amazing job. Here’s a more depth on what the collection is about:
The damsel in distress character has switched her roll drastically into the rebellious outlaw, striving to unmask her once ignored voice. The current zeitgeist of society has forced upon her an unexplainable self-empowered strength that is matched against a world hungry for her defeat. Independence and endurance have become her greatest companions during the long stride through life, while her humor follows closely behind. She must adapt to the evolving world and play just as unfair as it does.
This fall 2012, BOTB’s “Anti-Heroine” takes a blatant jab at the overly glorified “woman’s uniform” and uses dark humor to poke fun at the idea of a female being defined as dainty and weak. Anti-Heroine calls on woman globally to take off the gown which the world has placed on them like bondage and make up her own rules to this near end game of chess.
Fall is near and I have seen tons of makeup trends on the fashion runway. So many makeup artists played with dark and light this season. Pulling out pots of deep rouge and atmospheric ink one moment, and then working soft and neutral tones into the skin the next. Making a statement with a rich excess or sleek absence of color on lids, lashes and lips.
Speaking of lips I’ve seen so many lip trends for the fall seasons, and I can’t just choose one as my favorite. One of the lip trend that I like is the wine-stained lips. You can achieve this look with a good burgundy color like MAC’s ‘Dark Side’. Another lip trend that I love are the dark and earthy brown colors on the lips. You can achieve this look with any dark lipstick color like MAC’s ‘Cyber’ or you can tone It down a bit with an brownish red earth tone color like MAC’s ‘Fresh Moroccan’. Then I’ve seen the bright citrusy color lip trend with a good tangerine color like MAC’s ‘Moroange’ lipstick. And last but not least is the nude matte pink lip trend that I love. You can get this look by getting a nude color matte lipstick like MAC’s ‘Please Me’ and you are all set and done. I know MAC lipstick are $15 each, but you can use any cheap brand lipstick like NARS, Revlon, and Wet N Wild and find a color that best match the Fall trends. Now that you know how to achieve the Fall 2012 lip trend, just choose the one you like best and be fall fashion forward.
I’m so excited that Iggy Azalea just released her new video ‘Back 2 Tha Future (My Time)‘. She is my favorite female rapper and she never leaves me disappointed. Lets talk about the art visuals in this video…I loved It. I couldn’t keep my eyes off the screen because of the kaleidoscope effects. And the fashion was amazing; Iggy looked gorgeous in every outfit. The video and song is HOT like fire lol. I can’t wait for her new mixtape to come out already. For all my Azaleans waiting for the mixtape, don’t worry the date is set for TRAPGOLD to be out October 11th 2012.
Hashtag Apparel is an fresh clothing line coming out of Saint Louis , Missouri. They make CUSTOM apparel along with classic men apparel and womens as well. Not only is their work original but it is also affordable. Hashtag Apparel has had a lot of positive feedback not only from their hometown,other cities nationwide and celebrities. Their roster includes but not limited to Juelz Santana, Travis Porter, Fresco Kane and is rapidly growing. Although they aren’t a very large company they are doing a great job making a BIG name for themselves.

How to did you come up with the brand Hashtag Apparel?
(R) I was driving home when it literally dropped into my lap! There’s no special story thats exactly how it happened! Freaky!
How did you get started? Did your family help you?
(R) I got started by doing all the research myself. I researched how to start at shirt line, how to properly register a business, and all the legal worked. I worked and paid for all the start up costs myself.
Dim Mak 2012 Fall/Winter Look Book is out just in time for the newly back to school students. Dim has some help putting together a dope fresh lookbook featuring my muse Iggy Azalea, The Cobrasnake, and Yung Skeeter. Dim Mak provides a glimpse to its upcoming product line that includes fluorescent colors, bold patterns and gold jewelry. All of their style and personality really showed off in the lookbook, and I’m definitely loving Iggy Azalea in it most of all.
I’m a little late but one of my favorite designer Melody Ehsani did a limited edition collaboration with Reebok. M.E. teamed up to create this very special trainer as a part of Reebok’s BETWIXT program. The concept of this shoe was inspired by the idea that “Love is the only nutrient in the world that can be expressed” – Julie Walker.
The shoe features python printed leather. 4 lace color options (oatmeal, neon yellow, neon red and baby blue) “Love” embedded leather across toe bed The inside of the shoe is lined in Melody’s handwriting expressing some of her favorite quotes. Melody and Reebok teamed up to donate her entire personal design fee to a school for girls that helps fund their development and education. These limited edition shoes are on PRESALE right now for $170.00, but they will be released and shipped in October.
