Summer 2008, I was sitting in my room – thinking of something I could do that will not only make a name for myself, but change things up on the world wide web. I always wanted to have a blog website, but not your average blog website. I didn’t want to focus on celebrity gossip – I don’t even keep up with that.. besides, we have tons and tons of websites out there available to us for that. I didn’t only want to focus on music, but beauty too – as well as fashion. I wanted to create a website that could be for everyone, despite the name. I chose Vibrant Doll because I am in the process of making that name into a brand, plus it just fit. Vibrant Doll is fun and creative. Vibrant Guys & Dolls know how to live life. They enjoy life, and they live it in color.
Music is our drug. Beauty is what we like to express, we are ALL beautiful, but products help shape our features and put them on display to everyone around us. Fashion is what we like to wear, show off, and feel GOOD in. We love to acknowledge amazing people. Whether it’s through their music, their art, or anything they have done that inspires and motivates others. Vibrant Doll is all about having a good time, therefore there will be NO bashing on this website. If there is something we don’t like – it’s just not going to be said. We’re not here to put down celebrities or people in general. We’re trying to send out positive vibes into the universe, and that should be your mission too. Vibrant Doll loves introducing people to NEW music, NEW artists, NEW concepts, NEW designers and NEW products. There are some really great artists out there who deserve the recognition, so our goal is to put them out there, get them heard, and increase their fan base. We’re open to testing new products and concepts, and reviewing them. If we got the good stuff, we gotta share, right? I want everyone who visits VibrantDoll.com to see it as a good experience. Bookmark it, and visit VDOLL daily.
My name is Bionca Doll (real last name not needed!) and I’m 21 years old. I was born August 1st, which makes me a leo. I’m mixed, my mom is black and my dad is white, and I’m so thankful for that! I’m a sister to 3 brothers, an auntie to 3 nephews, a granddaughter to 2 amazing grandparents, and a daughter to 2 beautiful parents. I’m a college student residing in the Bay Area, California! I have always been into music. When I was 4 until the age of 14, I was SURE I wanted to be some famous singer like Mariah Carey… then I realized my voice was nothing like Beyonce’s, or any other huge Diva – so I ended that. But I knew I still wanted to work in the music industry, maybe as an A&R or something along those lines. I graduated from high school, went to a community college, graduated – got my AA, and now I’m at a University finishing up my BA in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing. Everyone who knows me KNOWS I’m a really motivated and inspired individual. I wanna do 930428947 different things and I plan on accomplishing every single one of them in my lifetime. I love life. I love music, beauty and fashion. I love taking pictures, I love traveling. I love meeting new people. Oh and I love twitter (lol!) I’m just one big lover. I have been designing since I was 12. I’m self taught, I never took a class. Web design is definitely something I DON’T want to do as a career, it’s not my passion and besides, it’s just a hobby – a USEFUL hobby at that. I’m obsessed with Vibrant Doll and I really hope to make it into something amazing. That’s my mission. It’s going to happen, and I’m going to make it happen. I’m employed at multiple places. I’m a teacher at an elementary school (not for a specific grade, I teach the kids who need a little extra), I’m an aide at an after school program, and I’m a freelance web designer. You’d be amazed on how I do all of this and still be able to go to college as a full time student. I just see it as if I wanna work in the music industry- they are use to doing a million things all at the same time, so this is good practice! My TOP 5 artists HAVE to be- J*DaVeY, Mariah Carey, Solange, Little Brother & The Foreign Exchange and Teedra Moses. Yeah okay I know thats 6, but damn! I think I just based it off of who I listen too all the time. I’m very spiritual, God is my #1. I’m always praying & talking to him. He is life! He is everything. He is the reason why we are here. I’m thankful for my friends and family who support me, especially my mom. She always supports all my crazy endeavors. First I wanted to be some type of rockstar, she bought me a guitar. Then I wanted to learn Macromedia Flash and be an Ill media designer, she paid $500 for me to take an online course – never did. Then I wanted to be a producer like J Dilla, she bought me all the equipment I would need. She’s my #1 Fan and my #1 supporter. I love her! THANKS MA’ FOR REPPIN VIBRANT DOLL MORE THAN I DO!
Hi! I am Sentrell! I’m from the beautiful city of Miami, however I currently reside in Tallahassee, FL where I attend an University. Im graduating in December 2010 with a degree in Public Relations and a minor in Graphic Design. I also love to write. After graduation I would love to move to NYC to live and obtain a masters degree. I eventually want to do some freelance writing, event planning and image consulting. 5 words that describe me are charismatic, passionate, caring, honest and loyal. I believe people (including myself) spend too much time frowning and not enough time smiling. I try to enjoy life, have fun and smile. I spend most of my time on my MacBook (blogging, etc.) , iPhone, listening to music and making my dreams my reality. I’m always planning and writing ideas down. I love to travel! My favorite cities are NYC, DC and LA. I plan to travel abroad sometime soon. Ill probably consider studying abroad with the masters program I choose to do. I also love music! I have a great appreciation for all genres. I love everything from indie to alternative to hip-hop to jazz. My parents exposed my sister and I to all kinds of music growing up. Along with music, I love to sing and dance. I joined a dance team my freshman year and I loved it! I also love good food. Good food leads to great conversation which leads to great memories. I also love quotes. I had a notebook of quotes when I was younger. Unfortunately I misplaced it. I am so excited to blog for VibrantDoll. I am excited to not only learn but to contribute to the growth of the site!

The name is Ondrea– also known as ony sunshine. Ony is my nickname and you will always catch me with a smile on my face (sparkle, sparkle ***) hehe =D I was born and raised in the state of Michigan (woohoo!), but I one day hope to move to New York city. My ultimate dream is to own a piggy, not a big ol’ fat one, but a little miniature one. Hence, how I got my second nickname ‘miss piggy’. *piggy heels, piggy clothes, piggy nails, piggy fro* They are soooo adorable! And yes, of course, I would walk it all around new york city with me. It’s a must! (note 2 self: is that legal?–I dont know–*kanye shrug*probably not–do I care?– thats a negative) anyone can dream, right? Well, I’m known as a “shoppaholic” but I like to call my self resourceful/passionate/sale finder/art(the art of clothing, that is) lover/a person who gives back to the community one accessory at a time. Yes, I might have hugged my Betsey Johnson purses a few times…a day. Just kidding, I promise. On a serious note, I find myself one day accomplishing big things. I am very self driven. My hobbies on the internet include; finding the latest fashion, finding the latest music/artist, and finding the most eye catching graphic design techniques. Even though I am very aware of what’s going on in the fashion industry, I only wear one type of style and that is my own personal style. I like to call it swagalicious-bon qui qui-beyonce fierce, ooohhh yeahh! *kool-aid man voice* (two thumbs up). I am a very confident person, I had to work for everything to even get to the place I am now, and for that I am strong and grateful. hmmm… lets wrap this up with family talk. I have three brothers and three sisters and was raised by my mother. I am half black and half white. Yes, the finest of them all, Bionca will agree, Oreo power! My family is a very important part of my life and I am very thankful for each and every one of them, awwwww… (i know, I know. hehe.) Well, If you want to chit-chat…

I’m a fun loving full time college student majoring in Communication. I’m currently living in Washington D.C. where I was born and raised. I’m a Libra who loves pink, being a girly girl, makeup, art, music, fashion and taking pictures but that’s just one side of me. My inner self that I don’t always get to share with everyone is very into politics, history, going green, human rights and making the world a better place. My idols are Mariah Carey, Oprah Winfrey, Soledad O’Brien, Wendy Williams, Barbara Walters and Sojourner Truth. I’m a vegetarian and I love trying new recipes. My friends call me the forgotten Cheetah Girl because I love the Disney channel and they say I should have my own show. Hair / Beauty products are my biggest obsession. My friends love for me to style them. Or as they say, “Go shopping in my closest”. The movie “Confessions of a Shopaholic” is a reflection of my life, I’m just waiting for my green scarf to save the day. I have been writing ever since pre-k and I have always had a huge imagination. Most of my time in school was spent daydreaming but somebody liked me because I made it through. My first short story was written in Kindergarten and I wrote a play when I was 11 called “Friendship”. At Duke Ellington school of the arts I studied literary media. It was there where I fell in love with journalism and my love of fashion was nurtured. My fashion icons are Jennifer Lopez, Sara Jessica Parker, Nicole Richie, Gwen Stefani, Marilyn Monroe, Kimora Lee Simmons and Kim Kardashian. I could spend hours in a thrift store and I love shopping for bargains. Shopping makes me feel good. Family and friends mean the world to me. My motivation for success would have to come from my 3 year old niece Sydney and my inspiration from my grandmother Sally. Don’t give up your dreams for anything if you really want something GO GET IT!!!… who else is stopping you but yourself? & always kill your enemies with kindness, the BEST revenge is to have fun live your life and look GOOD you never know who you are going to bump into.
