NEW Spring Accessories drops Tuesday February 7th in STORES and ONLINE. I love this spring line so much, and I wish I had my ears pierced again. I would definitely buy every single pair of earrings from this collection.
M.I.A. new video Bad Girls was released today, and I have to say this video was very entertaining. I first heard this song last year that appeared on her Vicki Leekx mixtape and I fell in love with this song. I loved that song so much I even made a shirt and designed a crewneck as well lol. I can not wait for her fourth album to come out this summer…I love her music. Check out the video and tell us what you think?
Recently, I was at Walgreens browsing through like the whole store. I’m always buying new lip balms and glosses. I decided to try Burt’s Bees tinted lip balm. I got it in hibiscus. It comes in this cardboard-like case, which i thought would be the size of the actual balm, but it’s not. It’s comparable in size to regular chapstick or lip balm. After I purchased it I looked at different reviews to see what other people thought about it. (Very backwards, I know). It’s like people either love it or hate it. I really like it. I use it almost daily. It’s not sticky at all and it has a light tint to it. It’s not that noticeable, but there is a small difference. It makes them a more even color all around. It’s $6, which is kind of pricey to be so small. When I opened it and saw how small it really was, I didn’t think it was worth the price, but it’s not that bad. I would buy more.
For Song Of The Day [SOTD] I chose Frank Ocean’s “Read The Stars”. It’s one of my all time favorite songs by him, and I probably listen to it almost everyday as a source of inspiration and motivation. Read The Stars is about Frank being underestimated and judged by his teachers. But he’s basically telling them “what do you know? You can’t read the future.” I’m sure some of us have been in a similar situation, whether it be teachers, parents, friends, family….. whoever. Growing up, I felt like MANY people underestimated me and felt that I wasn’t capable of achieving everything that I have. Even to this day, people who are suppose to be supportive and important to us continue to underestimate our future and try to talk us out of our goals. Who are they to tell YOU what lies ahead of your future? They can’t predict that. Frank said “Just tell me how you’re much better than me now. You tore me down until there was nothing left. Look at me, look at me, look at me, look at me… I’m still standing.” That’s right! Where’s there diploma for being able to read the stars? Give it a listen & download
