Last week this clothing brand hit me up on twitter saying that I’ll love Dangerously Beautiful, so I went to check them out on their site. And they were right I do love them and their tees are exactly my style. I just fell in love with them because their clothing is very chic, edgy, and bold. Now that my birthday is in 2 more day I think I’ll add some Dangerously Beautiful to my birthday present wish list.
You may ask What is Dangerously Beautiful?
A freethinking woman scares the status quo.
Dangerously Beautiful is a fashion and lifestyle brand created to represent and symbolize female empowerment. Launched in 2008 from its home base of Miami, FL, each season sees Dangerously Beautiful convey inspiration from the duality of femininity through iconic imagery and wordplay amongst a range of fashion apparel.
A Dangerously Beautiful woman is beautiful to a dangerous extent, yet enticing nonetheless. In a world where media bombards women with impossible Barbie-like-ideals and magazine covers covet women who define themselves by men, the Dangerously Beautiful ethic aims to infuse independence, esteem, and style. The Dangerously Beautiful woman can be found all over the globe, but these universals remain: She is self-defined, her fashion game is vicious; her attitude is malicious but delicious.
This brand is pretty hot you can find their clothing on shops like PLNDR and Karmaloop. Here is a couple of T-shirts they have down below but you can check out more at their website. Do you like Dangerously Beautiful as much as I do? Well check them out and Shop HERE

Did anybody else catch the owner of OBEY clothing, Shepard Fairey, on the Kony video? Shepard’s line is known for being involved in raising money for different types of charities/events, but it still caught me by surprise to see him featured on the film. It’s really nice to see clothing lines I Love to rock get involved with events like this. I really hope that the OBEY brand comes out with a T-shirt; I would buy 5! I am really excited about this cause.
If you don’t know what the “Kony” video is yet, I must first ask you– have you been hiding under a rock? This video went viral 24 hours after being posted. It’s all over Tumblr & Facebook, and it’s getting kind of crazy. But that’s great! The more reblogging and sharing the better. If you still haven’t experienced the life changing message, I advise you to take a few minutes to watch it. I don’t want to give out too much information; it’s one of those things you just got to see for yourself. Check it out:

Malaysian, singer, songwriter Yuna music has caught my attention. I recently heard her single “Live Your Life” and I instantly went to download the track. It says, “Find your light; don’t hide from what you are… and hope for something more”. The whole song goes on with more inspirational words about dreaming and reaching your goals. It is always nice to have songs on your tracklist to bring a lil’ pep to your day; inspiration is always needed.
Russle Simmons has even took notice to the rising star, “an amazing new singer…her music is incredible” when she released her self-titled EP in 2008. Her talent can’t be denied, and that VOICE *shakes head with approval*. I’m just mad that I haven’t heard of her music sooner! She came out like four years ago and I am just hearing about her
… I’m a little late. Any older Yuna fans out there?

Yarminiah and Yaminah Rosa are the owners of the line P U R P O S E, accessories that are made out of materials that you wouln’t even believe! Like– Matchsticks, Rose petals, orange peels, and other materials that you wouldn’t find put together at your local Claire’s. The best part about it is the pieces are super cute and it gives you a ‘saving the world’ type of feeling since they are made out of re-purpose material.
How did they come up with this AMAZING idea you ask? Weeelll, according to their website Yaminiah and Yaminah were hanging out in a mini cottage in little Haiti when they started playing around with the idea of making earrings out of dried mango they had laying around. Then Wahhlahh! They fell in Love with making jewelery out of material like such. Now, they look at magazines to see what’s hot and now, look around for pieces, and add it to their Website.
