Miguel released “ART DEALER CHIC Vol. 1″on February 27, 2012. I just got word of it, I have the songs playing on repeat as I am typing this post. There are only three tracks on this EP, but they have found their way to being my new top three songs. haha! Oh, Miguel how do you find a way to constantly amaze me? If you didn’t know already, Miguel writes all of his own music. Like he said on his Twitter– “Every word, every note”. He even painted his own album cover! *jaw drops* Seriously, can we get a round of applause for miguel? The only question now is… when is VOL. 2 coming out!!?

My favorite song on the album in ADORN, and lucky me, he has a lovely music video that goes along with it. Check it out, and like always tell me what you dolls think.

So this guy right here..is really dope. He’s from my city (Flint) and i think it’s amazing how he made it and is going somewhere with his talent. Kendre’ is a singer, rapper and an actor. You may have seen him on girlfriends, or Ned’s Declassified. But his music is really cool. I first heard him a while back in the Myspace days. The first songs I heard by him were Dollar Signs and a remix to Watcha Say by Jason Derulo. He has a couple mixtapes out. ‘The Tugawar’, ‘Young, Fly & Genius’, and ‘Who’s The Nerd’. He recently came out with a song/ video remix to Racks by YC. I looovvveeee it. Check it out. Hope you like it <3

When asked to describe her sound, she said:

“My sound/style comes from what I have experienced in life. I feel my sound is organic, distinct, melodic, eclectic, and filled with sensitivity. To say the least, I’d call my music a melodic melting pot.”

Nexus recently released a mixtape called I Love the 90s. The mixtape is a Tribute to 90′s R&B. The mixtape includes covers of Groove Theory, TLC, SWV, Aaliyah, Faith Evans, Brandy & Monica and more. The tape also features original music from the duo of girls who are trying to pick up where 90′s R&B left off.

The girls are 18 years old and in college for Music Business and Audio Engineering. Over the last year, they have worked hard to complete this mixtape and are currently working on their upcoming EP.
