So, I finally got my hands on a 1 inch KQC Flatiron sold HERE that retails for $159.95. I had three different hair textures flat-ironed, Kinky Hair, Thin Hair, and Frizzy hair. Oddly enough, it worked best on the frizzy hair. It really sealed in the moisture, (I’m assuming that was the tourmaline technology) and got the hair BONE straight. Honestly, the KQC is a great flatiron, but there are a few minor annoyances that could potentially keep hesitant purchasers from buying. The biggest issue was the grooved tips at the top of the iron. They can get REALLY hot, which of course would be dangerous to users as well as irritating if you have to stop and cool your fingers off to use it. The other “annoyance” which is actually more of a preference is the heat setting. I like my irons to go up to 450 degrees F or (232.22 C) to get kinky hair BONE straight. The KQC goes up to 410 F. All in all The KQC is an amazing product that’s hardly flawed & is GREAT buy for the price. If you’re in the market to replace an old Chi or just want to upgrade from your $25 iron check out a KQC Iron asap.

THAT’S RIGHT! We’re giving away Athena’s Kiss Lipglass from MAC’s Wonder Woman Collection. Isn’t it PRETTTTTTY? I know I know. Don’t worry, I’m not wearing the actual lipgloss that we will be giving away! I bought 2! LOL. One for me, one for the contest. I liked it so much I felt we HAD to give it away for the site. I adore pink lips. Athena’s Kiss lipglass is very pigmented, so much to the point where you do NOT need to wear lipstick underneath for more color. It’s smooth, it’s sparkley, it’s overall a gorgeous color. Oh, and did I mention it’s HUGE? Check this out:
O.M.G. is all I can say right now. I am in lust…. in LOVE… okay – i’m dying. MAC’s Spring Collection – Quite Cute, has me head over heels. I’M SO EXCITED to even be blogging this post. That’s how crazy I am about this collection. Talk about BEAUTIFUL pastel colors, MAC has really put in work. Pinks, lavenders, and turquoise – this collection screams “SPRING”! The Quite Cute Collection comes out on April 7th, so make sure you’re ready because I just know it’ll sell out. I have school on Thursday all day, so I will be cutting a class to run to MAC and make my purchase!
Urban Decay has released a new palette! How CUTE is this? I’m a huge fan of Urban Decay and I love their products. They are so fun and funky. The colors are always amazing and great quality. It’s so funny when people tell me they only love MAC. I’m like well have you ever used Urban Decay? Just as good! Urban Decay’s Fun Eyeshadow Palette comes with 6 colors. Woodstock (bright pink with slight shimmer), Baked (rich bronze), Uzi (metallic silver with big iridescent sparkles), Sin (champagne), Flipside (electric teal with blue sheen), and Psychedelic Sister (bright purple). The palette also includes Oil Slick 24/7 Liner (black with silver sparkle) and the original primer potion (nude). The original primer potion is one of my favorites. If you haven’t used it, you need to! The packaging for the palette is VERY appealing. I’m loving the colors. Bright & electric – that’s so me.

kaleidoscopic, creative, inspiring. What Makes You A Doll?
I believe what makes me a doll, is that I am not afraid to be different. I am a box of differences packed into one! My hometown is pretty drab and full of similarities. However, I stand out not only in my race & culture, but my dress, persona, and how I carry myself. I am ME and I love it!
You can be DOLL OF THE WEEK too! All you have to do is answer these same questions, attach your picture, and shoot us an e-mail! submissions@vibrantdoll.com
