Here is a exclusive preview of O.P.I Nicki Minaj Collection for 2012. The official launch will be in January. The colors of the nail polishes was inspired by some of Nicki Minaj’s hit songs. I absolutely love the colors so much especially the shatter one; they are amazing. They are all gorgeous colors! Which one is your favorite?

I bet you’re wondering why I said it can be your best friend or your enemy huh? well I’ll tell you.. I only will say box color can be your friend because of how convenient it is.  You can find it basically .. EVERYWHERE.  Wal-mart, Target, …The Dollar Store etc. but aside from how convenient it is that’s only thing good about it. Now I’m not here to BASH Boxed hair color but from a stylists point of view I’m here to educate you on why you should consider going to licensed professional in hair care.  There is A LOT that goes into coloring your hair. Natural level, desired level, toners, shades, which developer you need and sometimes more than that and when you pick of a box of hair color from the shelf  most times you’re not sure what things you need to take into consideration when you slap it on your head lol you just want it to look nice which I can completely understand :] So to save some from paying MORE money by having to get their hair fixed I would suggest go to your local salon and have a stylist talk about some options and if you’re a little nervous ask a friend who has awesome hair for a reference! :]

Out of all face washes, I’d have to say Neutrogena Deep Clean Gentle Scrub & Cream Cleanser are my faves. I usually use them both together, and I end up with the softest smoothest face ever! Although I only use the Deep Clean scrub 3 or 4 times a week, I use the Cream Cleanser everyday. I love the scent and how the Cream Cleanser leaves your face feeling refreshed and minty. Such a wonderful feeling, I swear! I highly recommend these products because a lot of people ask me “What do you use to wash your face? Your skin is so perfect!” and this is what I tell them.

After using my face wash products, I love to rub a few drops of Pele Essentials Organic Argan Oil on my face. It feels soooooo goooood and it really moisturizes my skin. I suggest using this product at night, only because I don’t feel that makeup should be applied right after using this product. It’s not too oily, depending on how much you put, BUT it does make your face a little shiny. You can find this product on beautyboutiqueoc.com/shop! They have tons of goodies on there. So that is my face routine. I have dry skin so using the Argan Oil after my wash is essential! These are all definitely my favorite products and as I stated before, I highly recommend them!

It’s summer and yes I know it’s hot, but we can’t just walk around looking any ol’ kind of way! Us dolls always have to look our best, even when the sun is blazing and the heat is scorching. I checked out my local Beauty 360 at CVS (get familiar if you aren’t already) and the makeup artists were more than happy to share with me great products for summer. I’m a huge beauty junkie and I realize that some of our makeup isn’t meant to be used throughout year. Summer needs its own set of products.

Every girl needs a good bronzer! How do celebrities get that glowing look? They use Bronzer. Cargo’s is great because it’s perfect for those disgusting humid days, chillin’ by pool, or hangin’ out at the beach. It’s water resistant which means its OKAY to get wet ladies!

2. Paula Dorf Oil-Free Foundation $38
There aren’t many people out there with “perfect” skin. Anytime you wear makeup, it’s always good to have a foundation, even if it’s light! I look at my foundation as a base. I may not have bumps on my face, but I sure do have blemishes and color unevenness! Paula’s foundation is amazing because it’s very pigmented, evens out your skin tone and texture while creating a virtually invisible natural finish, and lasts incredibly long. It is a water based foundation, hypo-allergenic AND fragrance free. So no excuses!

3. Pop Beauty Lid Bronzer Eye Shadow Palette $22
Summer is the season to use neutral colors when it comes to makeup. Who walks around with bright blue and green eyeshadow on a daily basis? Seriously. Pop’s Lid Bronze is awesome because it comes with 6 lid shimmers: true bronze, toffee bronze, nude glimmer, rose-nude glimmer, metallic peach, and beige glow. The shades have been easily combined for you to be able to create a naturally bronzy smoldering look. There is even instructions on the palette. How cute is that? Aw!

4. Mario Badescu Facial Spray $7
Setting spray is a must! After you have completed your make up, setting it with a spray is apart of the routine. Mario Badescu’s facial spray is formulated with herbal extracts and rosewater to serve as a pick me up for dehydrated skin. It feels good, can be used throughout the day, and is just an overall great product. Not to mention, it’s only $7 dollars!

5. 100% Pure Mint White Tea Moisturizer $28
I’m a huge fan of moisturizers. Don’t you just love how soft your face feels after washing and moisturizing it? It’s like heaven. 100%’s Mint White Tea moisturizer is SO refreshing. I could not pass this product up. I have never experienced such a feeling that this moisturizer gave. The mint makes your skin feel cool, and that is a must especially when it is baking outside. It hydrates your skin and is great for all skin types!

6. Lola Ultra Drench lipstick $18.50
Say hello to my new favorite lipstick. Not only is it a lipstick, but it also works as a lipstain! Does it dry out your lips? NO WAY! You don’t even have to top it off with lipgloss. Apply the lipstick and BAM! You’re set. Lola’s Ultra Drench lipstick is sheer and moisturizes your lips too. No more cracked & dry lips! It comes in a small variety of shades, including the essentials.

7. Neutrogena Cream Cleanser $6
Best. Cleanser. EVER! I swear by this product. I use it everyday, sometimes twice a day. I noticed it’s a popular item and loved by many so it had to make the list. It’s creamy, refreshing, and makes your face feel fabulous! I love cleansing my face with it, drying, and standing in front of the fan. Imagine cleansing your face with it THEN using 100%’s Pure Mint White Tea Moisturize… wow!

8. Nailtini Coco Loco Smoothie Mani/Pedi Sugar Scrub $18
Since it’s summer and the sneakers and boots have been put away, the perfect scrub is needed in order to rock our sandals. Wearing sandals is nice, but making sure your feet are on point is an even better. Nobody wants to see dirty feet! Eww! Nailtini’s Coco Loco Smoothie Sugar Scrub is amazing. It smells SO good. If you’re going to get Nailtini’s Sugar Scrub, you might as well pick up their hand & foot cream as well. This product, just like the scrub, also smells amazing. I’m obsessed with good smelling products that WORK! I know our feet get hard from wearing sandals everyday, so to own a foot cream is a must. Ever since I got it I’ve been using it daily and my feet have never been so grateful!

10. Phillips’ Milk Of Magnesia (Original) $5
Does your face sweat a lot on these long hot summer days? Does your make up easily MELT off your skin so you don’t even bother wearing it? Well, I have found the magic product to put an end to all of this. People always say to use this and that by all of these expensive name brand cosmetic lines that end up not working. Phillip’s Milk Of Magnesia WORKS! I know it sounds ridiculous, using something you take for when you have diarrhea, but if this is what stars like Beyonce use to prevent from makeup meltdowns when they’re performing, then it must be worth it. All you have to do is shake the bottle, pour a little bit on a cotton ball, and rub it on your face. If you see white marks afterwards, no problem! Brush them off your face then apply your primer and foundation, then you’re set. BEST PRODUCT FOR SUMMER, HANDS DOWN!
