For all my fashionable dolls, I have new accessory products I wanted to share with you all. The founder and owner of Eclectic Star ‘Alisha Byrd” was so sweet and sent me a few of her accessories to review. Before I get into the review let me tell you a little bit about Eclectic Star and the owner.
Founded in 2011, ECLECTIC Star is a southern accessory company specializing in, but not limited to, handmade beaded leather wrap bracelets. Each bracelet and idea is influenced by different cultures, lifestyles and trends and are made for those who are “eclectic” at heart, those who make their own rules and refuse to fit into any type of social mold. Designer and Founder Alisha Byrd is a recent college graduate from NC Central University with a degree in Mass Communications. She created ECLECTIC Star after noticing that handmade jewelry was in high demand but at a very expensive price. Her goal with ECLECTIC Star is to not only offer authentic well made jewelry at an affordable price but to treat each customer as V.I.P. I was sent two bracelets which are ‘Linked With Love’ bracelet and a ‘Wrap’ bracelet. They were both handmade and very good quality. I was happy to know that the ‘Linked With Love’ bracelet fit me perfectly, because I have very skinny wrists. Most bracelets never fit me right because of it, but I’m glade the size were perfect. It’s vey chic and trendy for those that love to stack bracelets on top of each other for that army candy look. The ‘Beaded Leather Wrap’ is a one of a kind bracelet made especially for me. I love the different color beads and how versatile It is. You can wear it has a bracelet or a necklace, but I love wearing it both ways. I’ve gotten so many compliments while wearing both of these bracelets out in about. I’m a officially a fan of EclecticStar accessories, and I love that her products are very inexpensive, trendy, and good quality. Yarminiah and Yaminah Rosa are the owners of the line P U R P O S E, accessories that are made out of materials that you wouln’t even believe! Like– Matchsticks, Rose petals, orange peels, and other materials that you wouldn’t find put together at your local Claire’s. The best part about it is the pieces are super cute and it gives you a ‘saving the world’ type of feeling since they are made out of re-purpose material.
How did they come up with this AMAZING idea you ask? Weeelll, according to their website Yaminiah and Yaminah were hanging out in a mini cottage in little Haiti when they started playing around with the idea of making earrings out of dried mango they had laying around.
