I’ve been looking into trying Miss Jessie’s Curly Pudding for quite some time and finally decided to give it a try. At about $38 for the 16 oz, it is on the pricey side. I looked at different reviews for this and they were mixed. It worked amazingly for some people, and others not so much. I stopped at Target one day and came across it while browsing the hair section and decided to just go for it….Before using it I washed and conditioned my hair. When I applied the curly pudding, I sectioned my hair as if I was straightening it and put a small amount on each section. When I was done I let it air dry and Wala! I fell in love. My hair looked moisturized and it had a lot more movement than usual. It stayed like this the whole day, and night too! So I would recommend this. This is probably the best product I have used for my curly hair and I think it’s worth the price. (=
And these are my curls after they dried:
Will you be purchasing any Miss Jessie’s products in the future? If you have already, what do you think?!

I don’t know if it is just me, but I always feel the urge to change up my hair color. It’s sooo much fun, BUT EXTREMELY DAMAGING! If I had it my way; one week my hair would be Rihanna red and the next week it would be Aaliyah jet black. Aft er the last time I bleached my curly hair I had to throw away the towel– no more bleaching or dying; my hair is limp and my curl pattern is almost diminished. I am slowly starting to relieve the damage that I caused but now my roots are starting to pop back up again and I can’t afford to do another bleach job, *sigh*. So, I started to research some other healthier dying/bleaching possibilities and these are some things I found:
Henna hair “dye” is 100% Organic, unlike regular dyes strip and morph the color of your hair, Henna has protiens that coat your hair to create a luscious, shiny color that lasts. The best part is, because Henna coats the hair, it blocks UV rays, makes your hair thicker, and mends split ends. Seriously, why didn’t I try this before? If you’re unsure how well it’s going to show up in your hair, check out this chart provided by morroccomethod.com:

You can purchase Henna Hair Dyes on morroccomethod.com for $10.50! I definitely feel that it’s worth a shot.
Hi Dolls!
I’m coming to you today with a couple of my FAVORITE products! To start off is the MorrocanOil Curl Defining mousse. I LOVE this product. For those with curly or wavy hair this product is FOR YOU. Now this product is a little on the pricey side $22 for the 5.1fl iz bottle BUT it goes a LONG way and the ingredients in the product do nothing but help your hair. The MorrocanOil brand is a favorite in the beauty industry and I recommend this product to anyone with hair that needs to be tamed, because this will reduce frizz, define, and moisturize hair.
Next on my review list is Kenra Blow-dry Spray

I LOVE this spray! I use this on ALL of my clients. It’s a very Mist like product and because it is very misty it goes very far.I have the 1.7 fl oz bottle and have used this on OVER 30 clients and its not close to being empty. This product is to decrease hair drying time which I feel it does AND is a heat protectant for your hair! With this product all you have to do is spray a couple times throughout the hair, work it in with fingers or a comb, and blow dry. It also smells phenomenal so that’s a plus! :]
Well I hope you enjoyed this review! I will have more on hair in the near future!

I bet you’re wondering why I said it can be your best friend or your enemy huh? well I’ll tell you.. I only will say box color can be your friend because of how convenient it is. You can find it basically .. EVERYWHERE. Wal-mart, Target, …The Dollar Store etc. but aside from how convenient it is that’s only thing good about it. Now I’m not here to BASH Boxed hair color but from a stylists point of view I’m here to educate you on why you should consider going to licensed professional in hair care. There is A LOT that goes into coloring your hair. Natural level, desired level, toners, shades, which developer you need and sometimes more than that and when you pick of a box of hair color from the shelf most times you’re not sure what things you need to take into consideration when you slap it on your head lol you just want it to look nice which I can completely understand :] So to save some from paying MORE money by having to get their hair fixed I would suggest go to your local salon and have a stylist talk about some options and if you’re a little nervous ask a friend who has awesome hair for a reference! :]

I love wearing my hair straight. It’s so easy to handle and It’s just cute. I usually just use regular flatirons, but i just hate the process and the results aren’t always how I want them. So I tried the InStyler yesterday. I absolutely LOVE it. It actually took less time than a regular flatiron. I only had to go over the pieces once and it was super easy. I didn’t add anything to my hair and it looked really polished and it was soooo soft. It doesn’t crush and damage your hair cause it has bristles on it and the heated part rotates. Another thing about this is, you don’t just have to straighten your hair. It can curl it and flip it. I was playing around with it and I flipped my hair a little and it actually came out cute. I was surprised cause I suck at flips and curls. But I was feelin’ it. hehe. I only used a flatiron to get my edges because I didn’t wanna burn myself. And the only bad thing about this is it makes a noise while you’re straightening your hair. It’s kind of annoying, but it’s not that bad. Overall, It’s so worth it. You can get the InStyler here.
Here is a picture of my results:

My curly hair crisis is now over, thanks to Pantene curly series deep conditioner! I’ve been trying so many different products for my hair. Nothing has been good enough for me to stick with. I use this deep conditioner once a week, and so far it’s been 3 weeks. I can see my hair changing and repairing already!! Im getting more compliments on it, and Im not scared to wear it out without a flat iron. Before, my hair was curly on one side and wavy/straight on the other. I was not about to walk around looking a hot mess so I’ve been looking for something that would actually work. Even with my first time using this I noticed my wavy and straight pieces were starting to curl. From this conditioner, I just expected it to make my hair soft and maybe a little more shiny. But it’s actually repairing my hair =) So, i would most definitely recommend this to people with curly hair problems!!! And it’s not hard to get at all. You can find it basically anywhere that sells hair products.
And this would be my new & improved hair:
