Hey Dolls! It’s been awhile.. but we’ll be back. June 2013. New look. New feel. New DOLL!
I’m excited to revamp my website. I have a clearer vision and know exactly how I want to utilize this platform. I want to inspire you all to go after your dreams, be artistic, creative, believe, have faith, be YOU, and motivate you all to live your best life. I thank everyone for the continued support and I can’t wait to be back and at it again.
Keep dreaming! See you soon.
I’m sure if everyone isn’t in school already it is rapidly approaching! So first and foremost I would like to wish everyone a successful school year! What I’m coming to you all today with I’m sure everyone could use.. a D.I.Y Calender! It’s super easy to make and I’m going to show you!
The things you’ll need:
- A Empty Frame (I got mine from Hobby Lobby)
- 35 Paint swatches from your local hardware store of your favorite colors (Home Depot, Lowes, etc.)
- Glue or tape (which ever you prefer. I used Glue)
- Command stripes ( The hooks)
- and dry erase markers
First, what your going to do is open your frame and flip the provided sample picture over on the white side. (Most frames come with a “sample” photo with a blank side) So flip that.
Secondly take your 35 paint swatches and line them up accordingly (horizontal and vertical) now I know you’re wondering why you need 35 swatches and there is only 31 days in the month, well if your month starts on a Wednesday you need extra spaces for the end of the month.
Thirdly you’re going to paste or tape your swatches onto the white paper the frame provided you with and try to line your swatches up evenly to the best of your ability.
and lastly wait for the glue to dry or if you used tape slowly but your frame together and WAHLAH! you have a new dry erase calender!
It’s super easy and it can go along with basically any color scheme you have. I hope you enjoyed it!

Who loves Sweet Leaf Tea? I do! I do! Sweet Leaf Tea (www.sweetleaftea.com) is a company that offers tasty organic iced tea beverages. The unique flavors is what gives Sweet Leaf its title as the BEST iced tea out! In the past, I’ve seen the brand in my local grocery store but was always afraid to try it since I didn’t know of anyone that drinks it. I received an e-mail in my submissions inbox about their current sweepstakes (you should enter, if you’re in the Texas area!) and received 2 bottles of Sweet Leaf “Original” Sweet Tea and Sweet Leaf “Mint & Honey” Green Tea. I stored them in the refrigerator, and as soon as they were chilled – I indulged! OMG. Amazing. Simply, amazing. I am no fan of Sweet Tea because I always thought of it as being too sweet, but Sweet Leaf has made a fan out of me. Mmm! The “Mint & Honey” Green Tea has got to be the best green tea I’ve ever had. I even shared with my mom and she said the same. Its blend of mint & honey in the green tea is what gives it that magical taste. Impressed.
Sweet Leaf Organic Tea comes in 8 flavors. Mint & Honey Green Tea, Lemon Iced Tea, Original Sweet Tea, Raspberry Iced Tea, Peach Iced Tea, Citrus Green Tea, Original Lemonade Tea, and Half & Half Lemonade Tea. Sweet Leaf Tea is sold in stores all over the country, so finding them shouldn’t be too difficult. Visit sweetleaftea.com to locate your nearest store that carries these delicious beverages!

Did anybody else catch the owner of OBEY clothing, Shepard Fairey, on the Kony video? Shepard’s line is known for being involved in raising money for different types of charities/events, but it still caught me by surprise to see him featured on the film. It’s really nice to see clothing lines I Love to rock get involved with events like this. I really hope that the OBEY brand comes out with a T-shirt; I would buy 5! I am really excited about this cause.
If you don’t know what the “Kony” video is yet, I must first ask you– have you been hiding under a rock? This video went viral 24 hours after being posted. It’s all over Tumblr & Facebook, and it’s getting kind of crazy. But that’s great! The more reblogging and sharing the better. If you still haven’t experienced the life changing message, I advise you to take a few minutes to watch it. I don’t want to give out too much information; it’s one of those things you just got to see for yourself. Check it out:

Will Prince is undoubtably a talented artist. He is from England and finds inspiration from artists like Kanye West, KAWS, and Tim Marrs. His main focus has been on music artists lately; you will see him draw faces like Wiz Khalifa, Kid Cudi, and the A$AP crew. The kid is doing big things! Look out for him as he creates designs for skateboards, t-shirt lines, and blogs.
