OMG! I love anything vintage and anything vintage inspired. I came across Vintage Royalty through a blog I frequent and I was immediately drawn to the uniqueness of the jewelry.

All of the jewelry is made of PAPER. Yes I said PAPER!!! I love everything about Vintage Royalty!!! I have my eye on two of the piece and I will be making a purchase ASAP. What do you think?

Check out the pricing and other pieces on the ESTY.

DIY: Framed Fabric0

Posted In Creative,D.I.Y.,New // Written by Sentrell

Its been a little minute since Ive posted. School is back in session and I recently moved into a new apartment. I love moving because new space equals new inspiration. I chose my favorite colors,  lime green, pink, black and white, for my room. I also chose to use different patterns. This brings me to the DIY project I did last Saturday. It costs me $20 and took at maximum of 30 minutes. I was inspired by my favorite interior design blog Made By Girl.

Start with Basic Wood Black Frames. They were $6 a piece at Target.

The Tools Needed: Box Cutter, Scissors, Hammer and Nails

Choose whatever fabric you like. This fabric was $9 at JoAnn Fabric.

To start, take off the back of the frame and remove the insert from the frame. Set aside. DO NOT DISCARD because it will be used as a guide for the fabric.

Turn the fabric over and place the insert from the frame in the center of the fabric. Using a permenant marker, trace (lightly making sure that the ink doesn’t bleed through the fabric) around the insert. Make sure that its not an exact trace. Make it slightly larger than the insert like the picture below.

Cut out the fabric with the scissors or the box cutter. Lastly insert the fabric into the frame. I put the insert behind the fabric (optional). Put the back of the frame into its proper place and secure the clamps.

Flip the frame over and you are done! This what the final product should look like.

Using a nail and hammer. Put the frame on the wall. Ofcourse this is optional. Repeat all of the step for the additional frame. I did two frames.

I put each frame over my night stands. I then placed this S I found at Marshalls for $8 in the middle. Excuse my Tigger lol.

I hope you all enjoyed this DIY project. I had fun doing it! Be on the look out for additional DIY projects soon.

P.S. Sorry about the lighting in the photos. The pop up flash on my D60 no longer works. :(

OFF Beat REPEAT Pattern Maker0

Posted In Creative,Graphics/Art,New // Written by Bionca Doll

Off Beat Repeat is THE shit. OH-EM-GEE. Off Beat Repeat is an online pattern maker. It’s not your average pattern maker, it’s full of the most random pictures ever. This is one addicting mothersucker. I spent like an hour straight making random patterns. You get to choose 20 little pictures (you’re only going to need like 10, but i suggest choosing 20 then eliminating some after) and you place the randomness in different areas of the square, once you’re done you hit “make a pattern” and WAH-LAH.. there goes your off beat repeat pattern! Lol. LOOK@MINEEEEEE!

this is the best one i did!

my WTF pattern.

my first attempt! (as you can tell I’m really feeling that unicorn) LOL
