I bet you’re wondering why I said it can be your best friend or your enemy huh? well I’ll tell you.. I only will say box color can be your friend because of how convenient it is. You can find it basically .. EVERYWHERE. Wal-mart, Target, …The Dollar Store etc. but aside from how convenient it is that’s only thing good about it. Now I’m not here to BASH Boxed hair color but from a stylists point of view I’m here to educate you on why you should consider going to licensed professional in hair care. There is A LOT that goes into coloring your hair. Natural level, desired level, toners, shades, which developer you need and sometimes more than that and when you pick of a box of hair color from the shelf most times you’re not sure what things you need to take into consideration when you slap it on your head lol you just want it to look nice which I can completely understand :] So to save some from paying MORE money by having to get their hair fixed I would suggest go to your local salon and have a stylist talk about some options and if you’re a little nervous ask a friend who has awesome hair for a reference! :]

I. LOVE. ALUNAGEORGE!!!!! This British duo is bringing something new to the music scene and I am obsessed. Tyler, The Creator ft. Frank Ocean – She. I love this song! The video is pretty cool..I’m a fan. I really like Frank Ocean. He has and amazing voice and his songs are creative. Although I don’t agree with all of the things Tyler, The Creator says, he is actually a good rapper. Anywhooo, check it out. Enjoy <3
MTTM just released their FALL 2011 line of fresh new tee’s and re-released classics, plus the favorite Milton Glaser Hoodies from their last Fall 2010 collection. Along with the ladies selection rocked by MOB’s own Sarah, they also got two new additions in the mens shop.
Remember Aaron Reid? The guy from MTV’s Sweet Sixteen?! Well yes, he is now a musician! Aaron Alexander released his single “Crazy Luv” earlier this year and I bought it on iTunes. I really liked the clip iTunes had, so I decided to download the whole thing. I absolutely love this track. Doesn’t it sound like Ryan Leslie produced it? Haha! Anywho, I look forward to hearing more from Aaron. With his father being LA Reid and all, I’m sure that he is only working with the best. I hope he does well and I wish him the best of luck.

kaleidoscopic, creative, inspiring. What Makes You A Doll?
I believe what makes me a doll, is that I am not afraid to be different. I am a box of differences packed into one! My hometown is pretty drab and full of similarities. However, I stand out not only in my race & culture, but my dress, persona, and how I carry myself. I am ME and I love it!
You can be DOLL OF THE WEEK too! All you have to do is answer these same questions, attach your picture, and shoot us an e-mail! submissions@vibrantdoll.com
