KQC Preview2

So, I finally got my hands on a 1 inch KQC Flatiron sold HERE that retails for $159.95. I had three different hair textures flat-ironed, Kinky Hair, Thin Hair, and Frizzy hair. Oddly enough, it worked best on the frizzy hair. It really sealed in the moisture, (I’m assuming that was the tourmaline technology) and got the hair BONE straight. Honestly, the KQC is a great flatiron, but there are a few minor annoyances that could potentially keep hesitant purchasers from buying. The biggest issue was the grooved tips at the top of the iron. They can get REALLY hot, which of course would be dangerous to users as well as irritating if you have to stop and cool your fingers off to use it. The other “annoyance” which is actually more of a preference is the heat setting. I like my irons to go up to 450 degrees F or (232.22 C) to get kinky hair BONE straight. The KQC goes up to 410 F. All in all The KQC is an amazing product that’s hardly flawed & is GREAT buy for the price. If you’re in the market to replace an old Chi or just want to upgrade from your $25 iron check out a KQC Iron asap.
