Permanent Make-Up2

Posted In Beauty,New,Reviews // Written by Kyeshia

I often get a lot of commentary and questions about my eyeliner. Some curious, and most very concerning. Most people ask me how I get it so straight or how it looks so perfect. One answer: it’s tattooed! Well, permanent! Pictures and more below.

Disclaimer: Okay, so I don’t have the most perfect skin OR eyebrows. I took these pictures while I was sick last week, so bare with  me!

I’ve had permanent cosmetics since I was 16, and it’s been a savior since. It saves me SO much time in the morning when I get ready, and I continuously look like I’ve got make-up applied all day – even when I wake up!

This is what my eyes basically look like in the morning, or days when I don’t feel like applying anything.

My artist is really, really amazing at what she does. She’s been doing this for over 10 years now, and I trust her to do this on me. Now, if you’re interested in permanent cosmetics, I strongly suggest you do your homework. Not everyone is qualified out there, and most of them are really, really bad at what they produce. Find someone that works for you, and KNOWS what looks good with your face and your eye shape too. I was very fortunate to be able to have someone who is so gifted, provide me with beautiful eyes ALWAYS.

This is what my liner looks like with mascara. I did NOT add anything BUT mascara, and filled in my eyebrows a bit. Nothing else BUT mascara.

The only down side to this is, sometimes I want to get funky and creative with my eyeliner. Maybe just do a really great cat-eye look sans bottom liner, but all I do to fix that is use liquid or gel liner, add more on top of my permanent, and skip mascara on my bottom lashes. It doesn’t take away from the look I’m going for, plus it’s super fast too.

Permanent cosmetics are expensive (I paid $350 for my top and bottom liner), but the less you pay, you know there’s a chance the quality wont be as good as you thought. Since I’ve had my eyeliner done, I have only had to touch-up ONCE. And I’m now 20 years old. If you get permanent cosmetics, and your artist suggests you go more times than necessary, there’s a chance your skin can create scar tissue from the numerous healing processes, and it could ruin  your skin forever.

You can also get other things tattooed on too. Like your eyebrows, a lip color or a tiny hint of blush, if you’d like. The things permanent cosmetics can do for you are endless, but these are PERMANENT. You have to be 100% sure this is what you want for the rest of your life. Don’t act on impulse, you may end up hating it in a few years. So, please, if you’re interested in something like this, do your research and find an artist who is qualified and produces great results. Also speak to some of their clients about their work. That comes in handy more than you know!

What do you think about this, dolls? Are you brave enough to endure this kind of pain? Let me know below!

I am wondering who did your permanent makeup. I do these procedures as well and stay away from going to far into the outer canthus because the liner can migrate under the skin. So again, I am wondering who did it if you don’t mind telling ;)

    Ellie,

The woman who did my eyeliner is someone here in Utah. She’s been doing permanent cosmetics for about 13 years now. If you’d like to talk about it further, you can email me at kyeshia@vibrantdoll.com!
