Sa-Ra Creative Partners are one of the most talented groups I’ve ever heard. The group is composed of Om’Mas Keith, Taz Arnold, and Shafiq Husayn who make music so down to earth, soulful, funky… you name it – they make it. They take musical elements from the 70′s and 80′s and mix it in with today’s music. The first time I discovered Sa-Ra was from someones page on myspace (myspace DOES help.. maybe not so much now but it used to) I was then instantly curious as to what more they had to offer. Like most people online, (I know.. I feel bad) I downloaded their album “Hollywood Recordings”… umm OMG. Talk about bomb music? yea they make it. Recently they released a new album entitled: Nuclear Evolution: The Age Of Love. I recommend you go get this. If you’re unsure, no worries. Below I attached a few songs for you guys to hear. If you like it… YOU need this in your life. My favorites on the album have to be: “My Star” featuring Erika Rose, “The Bone Song” – which is actually on the Vibrant Doll Presents: Touch The Stars v.1 Mixtape (download it), “Bitch Baby” -crazzzzzzyyy, and of course, “Dirty Beauty” featuring Erykah Badu. They are crazy, fun and cool, and well….. who wouldn’t love them? I gurantee you, if you never heard of their music – you’re basically going to love it.
